Connections Group Therapy
I am excited to announce Connections group therapy, for those interested in receiving support in the areas in which you specifically struggle!
The Connections group is a process group which provides a safe venue to give and receive positive support to others who may be facing similar things. While this group is non-topical in nature, the topic becomes what you or others bring to the group. By focusing on interpersonal interactions based on relational theory, this group enables the healing of oneself and others through those integral relationships.
The reasons you should attend are to gain support if that is what you seek, or you can listen to others' stories. This is a very interesting group with much opportunity to gain insight. Whether you or someone you know has a pattern of relating to self and others which ultimately results in damage to one's self-esteem and ability to form close, healthy relationships with a significant others, this group is for you! This group is also for anyone who wishes to embark on a personal exploration and improve well-being in the areas of interacting with self and others.
You or a loved one may experience:
- low self-esteem due to giving too much and not getting back
- the need to be needed, or may love someone until it hurts
- propensity for “love addiction,” and confusing love with sex
- fear of being alone or without a relationship
- anger or frustration in general or in relationships
- any other topics or issues are welcome!
I highly encourage you to attend our Connections Group Therapy at 1850 Lee Rd., Ste. 103, on Thursdays, at 6:00 p.m. The group is 1-hour, 30-minutes and the charge is $25. There is no commitment to attend groups weekly. Please pass this on if you think the group would benefit others you know struggling with these issues.
